Soft Sponge/Molestick
Now your patients' rough spots can be soft spots when they have thermoplastic materialTM
formed over their body parts to produce immobilization. A patient immobilized under any TM can become very uncomfortable. This can be due to swelling, pressure points, sores or lacerations.
By placing a small piece of an adhesive sponge padding to your cured TM over these areas,
a much softer point of pressure is created, giving you a much happier patient.
(1) Molestick, an open-cell foam with an adhesive back, is available in a roll size 6" x 6 yds,
1/16" plus thickness that compresses under weight.
. May also be used on the plastic head supports
to create "a feeling" of softness. Beige color.
